Provides leadership to promote and sustain high academic achievement for all students and to successfully implement the District’s strategic plan. Demonstrates thorough knowledge and application of instructional leadership standards, curriculum and assessment programs, operational management, and financial oversight. Promotes a positive school climate and maintains effective relationships with students, staff, families, community members, central office departments, and all internal and external stakeholders.
Must possess (or meet qualifications for) a Georgia certificate in Educational Leadership or hold a Master’s degree in an education-related field with completion of an Educational Leadership program within three (3) years. Minimum of three (3) years of successful educational experience required.
Position requires mostly sitting, standing, and walking. Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and kneeling are required, with weights not normally exceeding thirty (30) pounds. Must be able to tolerate various weather conditions and work outside as needed.
